Information Technology Growth: Local, Regional and the State

An in depth look at how local, regional and state-wide efforts in Louisiana's IT Industry resulted in economic growth.  Through regional and state economic development organizations, Louisiana IT companies are able to collaborate and attract growth opportunities that might otherwise have not been possible.  Coordinated regional and state industry cluster groups facilitated common growth issues and the initiatives necessary to grow each particular industry.  Additionally, cross cluster discussions allow industries to identify opportunities to grow their respective industries through common needs and the application of current technologies that can create a competitive advantage for companies in our region and state.
