Leon White
After
serving as an officer in the U.S. Air Force,
Leon White embarked on a distinguished career
in the building automation industry. He
worked for Johnson Controls Inc. for more
than 20 years and for Landis & Gyr (now
Siemens Building Technologies) for 10, serving
in engineering, sales and senior management
positions in both companies. Mr. White's
expertise led to frequent travels in Europe,
Asia and throughout North America, where
he developed a passion for learning diverse
cultures and ways of doing business.
In his mid-fifties, the entrepreneurial spirit called, and Mr. White left the corporate world to form ALC Controls Inc. of Kennesaw, Georgia where he served as owner, president and chief executive officer of the company. After enjoying a highly successful eight years in this entrepreneurial enterprise, he sold his interest in the company and worked as an independent consultant, helping some 70 entrepreneurial companies strengthen their businesses. In March 2002, a client persuaded him to launch a new subsidiary, Automated Logic Contracting Services Inc., where he serves today as president and chief executive officer.
Mr. White
serves on the board of directors for Automated
Logic Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in electrical engineering
from Tulane University School of Engineering
and serves on the board of advisors for
the Tulane Department of Electrical Engineering
and Computer Science.
