Michael G. Anness

Michael Anness is the Advanced Reactors manager in Westinghouse's Research & Technology Unit. Michael's group is responsible for Westinghouse's leadership in developing advanced nuclear reactor technologies beyond AP1000TM, such as small modular reactors, high-temperature reactors and fast reactors.

Michael graduated with honors from Kansas State University in Mechanical & Nuclear Engineering, and has worked with Westinghouse for 9 years in various disciplines such as reactor physics and safety, radiation physics and criticality safety of spent nuclear fuel.
