Steve Ceulemans

Steven Ceulemans is the Commercialization Coordinator heading the venture acceleration program at the New Orleans BioInnovation Center. This program aims to facilitate (academic) research development and commercialization in New Orleans and is supported by the South Louisiana Institute for Infectious Disease Research; the Louisiana Vaccine Center; and the Clinical and Translational Research, Education and Commercialization Project. Steven holds a Masters degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from LSU Health Sciences Center - New Orleans, as well as a Masters degree in International Business from VLEKHO business school in Brussels, and a BS in Chemistry from the Technical University of Antwerp. He has experience in chemical and biomedical R&D, international business development and biotechnology startups through prior engagements with organizations including the Joint Research Centre (DG European Commission), Procter & Gamble, Tibotec (Johnson & Johnson) and Software AG.
