Alisha A. Renfro
Alisha Renfro is a coastal scientist with the National Wildlife Federation working on the Coastal Louisiana Restoration team. She has a M.S. in Marine Science from University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Ph.D. in Marine and Atmospheric Science from Stony Brook University. She has worked in a variety of coastal environments where her research has focused on sediment transport and deposition in estuaries and wetlands to understand the reasons behind declining wetland health and increased marsh loss. Alisha joined the National Wildlife Federation to aid them in improving the management strategies used to preserve the ecologically and economically important environments of the Louisiana coast.
