James F. McNulty
Jim McNulty was born and received his primary education in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Upon graduation from high school, he entered the United States Military Academy,
where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering in 1964. A 24-year
Army career included a variety of troop, research and development, and project
management assignments. While in the service, he earned a Master of Science
degree in physics from Ohio State University, and a Master of Science degree
in Management as an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology.
Jim retired from the Army as a Colonel in 1988 and joined the Parsons in the
Washington D.C. office that same year. He moved to the Parsons' headquarters
in Pasadena, California in 1992, where he held a succession of senior management
positions before being named President and Chief Executive Officer in April of
1996, and Chairman of the Board in January 1998.
Jim and his wife Judy reside in Pasadena and have three children - a son,
Darby, and two daughters, Anne and Brigid. They enjoy hiking, walking,
golf, and reading.
