Col. Ronnie D. Johnson
Col. Ronnie D. Johnson is the J-6 for the Louisiana National Guard and Commander of the 256th Infantry Brigade. Previously, Col. Johnson served as the Deputy Commander of the 256th Infantry Brigade while deployed in Baghdad from October 2004 to September 2005. Upon return from Iraq, he served as the Chief of Staff for Task Force Pelican, the command responsible for post-Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita Operations for the Louisiana National Guard.
Col. Johnson also served ten years as a Deputy United States Marshal and served seven years on active duty in the U.S. Army. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University, the Army Command and General Staff College and the Army War College.

C4I (Communications, Computers, and Command and Control) Systems of the Louisiana National Guard. Particular focus will be given to post-Katrina improvements and the issue of interoperability with our systems and those of local, state, and federal entities.
