Graduate student Dylan Lawrence presented his work at WMIC 2017 in Philadelphia
Congratulations to the outstanding undergraduate resesearchers in the laboratory:
Megan Escott - 2017 CELT summer research fellowship
Andrew Markel - 2017 Honors summer research fellowship
Nathan Nguyen - 2017 Honors summer research fellowship
Summer research was also supported by a Tulane Committee on Research Fellowship to Dr. Bayer
Dr. Bayer presented an invited talk at From Light to Sound: Frontiers in Deep Tissue Imaging at the Janelia Rearch Campus in June 2017 More information about the conference Congratulations to Jaclyn Sider! Summer 2017 she conducted research at Georgia Tech as part of their SURE Internship. Jaclyn's research focuses on a photoacoustic tomography system. VisualSonics recently spotlighted the work from BFIL as part of their Shared Stories. The focus was on Photoacoustic Imaging of Placental Oxygenation. Check it out here! Principal Investigator Dr. Carolyn Bayer presented her poster titled "Ultrasound-guided spectral photoacoustic imaging of placental oxygenation" at SPIE Photonics West 2017 Conference held in San Francisco. Graduate Student Dylan Lawrence showcased some of the recent work of the BFIL at Tulane's Health Science Research Days with his poster is titled "Photoacoustic Imaging to Measure Placental Tissue Hypoxia in a Preeclamptic State" and is number D9 - BFIL routinely publishes in the following.
