The Writing Studio offers free tutoring to any Tulane undergraduates who want one-to-one help with a particular writing assignment. It is open during fall and spring semesters, Monday through Thursday from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm; Friday, 10:30 to 1:00 pm; and Sunday from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The Writing Workshop closes whenever classes are not in session – holidays, breaks, reading-week and exam-week. Appointments are required and can be easily scheduled by calling Tutoring Services at 865-5103. Students are allowed two 30-minutes tutoring sessions per week in the Writing Workshop. All tutors in the Writing Workshop are also affiliated with the Department of English, either as graduate students or as adjunct faculty, and all have been carefully trained to tutor undergraduates in the writing process.
