PROGRAM SERVICES

The Office of Service Learning is available to assist faculty who want to incorporate service learning into their instruction. Our staff can provide the following support services.

consulting on the development of service learning courses;
creating partnerships with community agencies in order to match academic interest with the needs of the community;
facilitating discussion sessions to allow students from various courses to reflect on their service experiences;
assisting faculty in developing proposals for service learning grants;
providing materials on service learning related to specific courses and needs;
facilitating workshops and training for faculty and students;
evaluating the service learning component of the course.
