INTERNSHIP PROGRAM > ENGLISH

English internships allow students to earn 3 credit hours while gaining experience in fields such as curriculum development, public relations, grantwriting, and publishing, among others. Internships are available to Junior and Senior English majors with a 3.0 average. Interns are required to complete 60 hours of service at an approved site and attend a weekly seminar.

Possible English internship placements include, but are not limited to:

  • New Orleans Outreach
  • Junebug Productions
  • Literacy Alliance
  • Agenda for Children
  • For the Children
  • Upward Bound
