INTERNSHIP PROGRAM > POLITICAL SCIENCE

Political Science internships offer students an oppurtunity to be a part of a campaign, political bureau, advocacy group, or other type of organizations while earning 3 credit hours. Internships are available to Junior and Senior Political Science majors in good standing. Interns are required to complete 60 hours of service at an approved site and attend a weekly hour-long seminar.

Possible Political Science internship duties include, but are not limited to:

  • New Orleans City Hall/Mayor's Office
  • New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center
  • Council for International Visitors
  • Agenda for Children
  • American Civil Liberties Union
