INTERNSHIP PROGRAM > SOCIOLOGY

Sociology internships give students an opportunity to work with professionals in a variety of service providers facilities. Sociology internships are available to Junior and Senior Sociology majors in good standing. Students are required to complete 60 hours of service at an approved site and attend a weekly-hour long seminar.

Possible Sociology internships sites include, but are not limited to:

  • Anti-Defamation League
  • Jewish Community Center
  • Agenda for Children
  • Great Expectations Foundation
  • The Arc of Greater New Orleans
  • New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center
  • Make-a-Wish Foundation
