Majors/Minors & the M.A. program in Classical Studies

❖ Undergraduates may pursue a major in Classical Studies, Greek, or Latin (or a combination of these). Minor concentrations are also offered in these areas.

See our UNDERGRADUATE program page for more information.

Current course offerings can be found in the Schedule of Classes.

❖ The graduate M.A. degree is offered as a full-time or part-time course of study. Undergraduates who are already majoring in either Greek or Latin at Tulane may opt to apply for the 4+1 M.A. program.

For more information on these options, please see our GRADUATE program page.

❖ Students have the option of participating in university-approved semester- or year-long programs that may fulfill some requirements of the Classical Studies, Greek, or Latin majors. For more on this, please see the STUDY ABROAD page with links to some of these programs and the Tulane Office of Study Abroad.

❖ There are sources of funding for summer study and other programs. A list of possible sources can be found here on our website. Please consult with your faculty advisor.
